I didn't build a lot of plastic models when I was a kid. I certainly didn't have the patience to do all of the finishing touches required to make a truly fine model. Basically, I glued the pieces together, and that was about it. I have come to learn that the plastic is merely a surface upon which to create the true model. It's the finish that counts. I have a lot to learn, but I enjoy building a model from time to time.
